Hoshen (Breastplate) - As told in the Book of Exodus the Hoshen was the sacred breastplate worn by the Jewish high priest during the sacred rituals in the Temple. It was adorned with twelve semi-precious stones, each stone representative of a specific tribe of Israel, thus to signify the wholeness of the community of Israel. According to the Talmud, the wearing of the Hoshen served to make amends for the sin of errors in judgment on the part of the Children of Israel.

Hamsa - For Protection against the Evil Eye - The Hamsa Hand is one of the original protective signs. It is believed that the one who wears it or hangs it in his house, will be protected from the Evil Eye and it will bring positive energy, happiness, prosperity and health. The Hamsa (root means "five") symbolizes the Creators protective hand.
