Ana Bekoach Prayer - The Ana BaKoach prayer is a Piyyut, a Jewish chant, sung during religious services. Ana Ba'Koach is normally read during Shacharit or the morning service. It is believed the prayer originated from the Jewish Kabbalists of the Middle Ages. According to Kabalistic tradition the Ana Ba'Koach prayer spells one of the Names of God mentioned the Jewish Talmud. The 'Name' is shown by taking the first letters of each of the words in each row of the prayer. The Ana Ba'Koach prayer has been used throughout the generations engraved on the walls of synagogues and on amulets.
