Product Details - This is a Mezuzah Pendant from Israel. Measuring approx. 4.5cm, it hangs on it hangs on an adjustable leather cord. The Hebrew letter on the front is 'Sheen', the first letter of the Hebrew word 'Shadai' which is one of God's holy names as written in the Old Testament. This pendant also depicts a Hamsa with evil eye. On the back of the Mehzuzah is wriiten the'Tfilat HaDerech' the prayer for traveling.
Mezuzah - The term mezuzah means "doorpost" in Hebrew, and refers to a scroll with particular verses of the Torah which is placed in a container and attached to a doorpost outside of the home of a devout Jew.
However, this special Mezuzah Pendant contains the Jewish Prayer for traveling, and when worn on the body, it is believed will give the wearer protection where ever they go.
Hamsa - For centuries the Hamsa Hand has been used as a symbol of Good luck and shields its owner from the curse of the evil eye.
