Ana Bekoach Prayer - The inscription on this amulet is the opening verse of the Ana Bekoach Prayer:

...meaning: “Please with force, the greatness of your right arm, will you save from trouble”

The Ana BaKoach prayer is a Piyyut, a Jewish chant, sung during religious services. Ana Ba'Koach is normally read during Shacharit or the morning service. It is believed the prayer originated from the Jewish Kabbalists of the Middle Ages. According to Kabalistic tradition the Ana Ba'Koach prayer spells one of the Names of God mentioned the Jewish Talmud. The 'Name' is shown by taking the first letters of each of the words in each row of the prayer.

Traditionally reciting this prayer is useful when encountering a new and complex problem. It is believed this prayer helps us connect to higher spheres of wisdom and knowledge, transcending one beyond his senses and material existence. The Ana Ba'Koach prayer was used throughout the generations engraved on the walls of synagogues and on amulets.
